Three Wishes

Grant me these, Three Wishes
No army's will I raise
I will resist all temptation
If you, will do the same

My first wish, several lifetimes
And every gift, I gave to you
Be forgot, then rediscovered
Like the day, when they, were new

My second wish, my second home
With its long, canyon view
Throw my ring, in that cold river
Give gravity, its due

I woke the land, from its slumber
Burned the rain, for my heat
I asked the mountains, for forgiveness
Then my journey, was complete

Now my last wish, bring your sorrows
Bring your burdens, black and blue
Release two crows, from the altar
When the longest, night, is through

Grant me these, Three Wishes
Every gift, I gave to you
Throw my ring, in that cold river
Give gravity, its due
Release two crows, from the altar
When the longest, night, is through...
